Positive steps forward for Smiths Grant

As of the 1st July 2016 the solicitors firms of Smiths Grant of Murray Street, Duns and Hastings Legal of Kelso and Selkirk have incorporated. With the recent rebranding of Hastings Legal the Smiths Grant and Hastings websites have merged and the firms will be known as Hastings Legal.

Ian Grant has retired as a solicitor but is continuing as Legal Executive to provide continuity allowing us to benefit from his long standing connection with the office and the many loyal Duns clients. You will still see the staff you are familiar with  at the Duns office, Marion, Sandra and Linda. Associate Solicitor Ricky Hope, who lives in the Duns area, is now working primarily from the office in Murray Street. Suzanne Smith who is Head of Property and also lives near Duns will be developing our property presence. We have also appointed another well kent Berwickshire face Tim Taylor who has joined the firm as a trainee solicitor and is working between our Duns and Kelso offices.
