At the junction to Crailing take the road to the left signposted Roxburgh passing Nisbet Smithy on the right. Upper Nisbet is one mile distant and lies on the left. Alternatively from the Kelso direction travel through the village of Roxburgh with Upper Nisbet on the right some three miles distant.
